need to acoustically isolate my in-ceiling Polks

I know my RT series in-ceiling fronts and surrounds and in-wall center were designed to be inside a lot of air, but there's just too much noise coming up into my bedroom so I have to do something about it.

I've read pretty much every thread in the Speaker subforum on the topic of boxing in in-ceiling speakers, but my question is this: do you think I'll notice a drop in sound quality by boxing in the front and rear surrounds? (I have a basic 5.1 system with an in-wall 255c-rt center and 4 in-ceiling speakers (two 620-RTs for fronts and two 80fx-RTs for rear surrounds)

The cavity in my ceiling is only 7" tall so I can't get too fancy. I found a good deal on 2 Dynaboxes so I'm going test those on the fronts. I'll use my iPhone to record dB before and after the boxes are added.

Instead of those boxes though I may just stuff Roxul into the cavities about 6" before and after the speaker. Then I also have some studio foam coming that I can glue above the speaker (the floor of my bedroom) to really stop that sound from coming up.

I'm may even put in the Roxul and studio foam even if I do use the Dynaboxes just to top the sound that much more.

Now, as far as I can discern, the only drop in sound quality would be from the lower frequencies; however, I do have a 12" sub in the living room so I'm not too worried about the bass loss from the in-ceiling speakers. (or should I?)

Any input or comments welcome.
