SDA-SRS war of words

I search CL regularly in the Cleveland, Ohio, area for deals, but rarely see anything of value for a reasonable price. So I expanded my search and ran across this amusing exchange in Warren, Michigan.
The first ad:

The text:
Selling my Polk SDA-SRS speakers
These speakers are BIG and weigh nearly 200 lbs each.
All original drivers $1600.
Reduced to $1300 FIRM...
And a response from another CL patron:

The text:
Idiot with Polk SDA-SRS speakers in Warren - $1300 (Warren)
This short bus riding IDIOT puts these old, antique, dinosaurs on here EVERY day for the SAME price. Dude after 2 years.......NOBODY wants them, at least not for that price.
Donate them to charity, sell them for $100 at a garage sale - ANYTHING - just try SOMETHING else!!!!!!!!
Is either party in that exchange a regular here at Club Polk? Surely we're too polite for name-calling, right?
BTW, this is my first post here after years of lurking. I've have a pair of SDA-SRS 1.2TL since 1991 and use them and cherish them daily. They now are part of a surround setup with Definitive Technology center, surrounds and a sub, but for music I switch off the effect speakers and listen to the big boys alone. (Powered by a Yamaha RX-V1.) Also had the Monitor 4-14 setup for years after buying it in 1982, but was shamed into getting rid of the LF14 passive sub a few years ago. Still have the 4s as museum pieces. And now have Monitor Series II 70s and 40s in secondary systems in other rooms. So I've been a Polk fan for 33 years and counting.

First off welcome to the club. I think you should start searching the garage sale adds in Warren Michigan. Sounds like the person calling them dinosaurs is trying to get the seller to drop the price considerably so he can get them, other wise he wouldn't off taken the time to put that add up.Home Theater

Well, if you ever want another LF 14, let me know.

I probably never gave the LF14 enough power when it was in use in the '80s, but I was living in apartments, so just as well. The 1.2TL setup is in a living room that was my house's original two-car garage before the first owner enclosed it and added a three-car garage, so I have plenty of room for the SDA-SRS effect to breathe. All rooms are compromises, but this is nice.

I love it when folks who troll craigslist with overpriced items, looking for suckers to buy them, get called-out for it. They're abusing the "free" nature of the medium.
I think it's a public service.
I do my best to flag ads that have lists of keywords. Another "abuse of Craigslist" issue.
