Inductance of mw 6503

Hi,

has anyone measured the inductance (le) of a mw 6503? Or has anyone got an LCR meter and a mw 6503 to measure?

Bit expensive to buy a meter for a one off.

Thinking of trying a zobel NW for a franken polk and cant find the le anywhere.

Hi Rob,
Voice coil inductance is a difficult parameter to measure, primarily because it is not constant, but varies with frequency. The industry standard is to measure it at 1kHz.
But, it is probably best to measure it using the complete driver's impedance curve.
I can give you these measurements of the MW6503:

Q is 1.82
BL is 5.24N/AMP
Compliance is 3.55E-3N/M
DC resistance is 6.54 ohms
Fo is 29Hz
