Anyone have any comparison of the RTi28's vs. the new RTi4's? I'm also interested in the CSi30 vs. the CSi3. I have the older 28's and the 30 and am debating if I should use the CC upgrade option or not.
Thanks,
Brian

I think you'll get varied answers on here. I have the older series and like it better. I could actually use the CC Upgrade policy and upgrade everything for only 100 bucks or so, but am sticking with my wurrent set up instead. I just personally like the sound a little better. -
RT25i OR RT5 OR RTi4 either will be a better choice, IMO- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Any more takers here?

I personally have not yet heard the new RTi series, but I've been happy for the most part with my RTi28's. However, if what I hear is true about the tweeter being improved on the new series, then it would be worth the upgrade. The lack of highs from the RTi28/38 tweeter is the one thing I don't like about my speakers.Home:

I find the older series to be a little less bright, which IMO makes them better. I think the new tweeter is just a bit too much. Although I am now running a CSi3 with my rti70s and find it to be great. (I know--clear as mud) When I listened to an all RTix lineup I thought it was just a bit too bright. Though I have heard rumors that they settle down a bit. There are two ways to argue with women. Both of them are wrong.
