I hope it's better than On An Island which I did not like at all. Live though I did see him years ago w/o Floyd on the pier N.Y.C. and was amazing. They actually delayed the start of his show because it wasn't dark enough for the effects that were to be used. You want quality sound and spectacle go see David Gilmour. Since the passing of Richard Wright I doubt there will be another Pink Floyd show ever again.

I overheard the guy at Record Den say he sold 15 copies but in the
same breath joked buy one get four free... awaiting reviews.
They were playing the new Alice Cooper covers LP 'Hollywood Vampires;
and it sounded GREAT. Good fun.

Got it both on CD/ Blu Ray and LP. I love it, but then again Gilmour could make an album of him farting and I'd stand by it. Very good SDA effect on the CD.

can't swear to it but I think that was covered on Ummagumma

Hey look a post card shipped in an envelope from Paris. I've listened to this twice now some damn good music on here, not as good as his solo debut but pretty darn good none the less. Well getting ready for the Blu Ray next figure I'm in for a treat.

Well, I hate to say it. I'm glad I could give this a listen on Amazon first. That way I don't need to waste my money on it..... Not that it's "bad", it's just that there's no chance I'd ever give this a second listen.

Just saw an ad for the Jools Holland show Later w/ David Gilmour I think tonight on the Palladia channel. This show has a great concept if you never saw it. They have about 5/6 bands in a semi circle all watching and grooving on each other's performance. Like he says there are A-listers well knowns and up and comers and is a great show.
Another great show on Palladia is Live fron Daryl's House. Daryl Hall of HALL and Oates fame has these beautiful woodsy cabin in upstate N.Y. where he has also has great knowns and new people come up and jam and record. Of course he throws in a few H&Os numbers but mainly it's the artists he invites. A great show.
