I just wanted to see what you guys do for digital playback. Right now I'm running tidal hifi---Mac mini--- Music fidelity V link---- to my stereo. Vvolume control is fixed by my V link but not the volume on tidal or my stereo.
Should I set the volume up all the way on Tidal or somewhere else?

I am having a hard time wording what I am actually trying to say I guess. Would you max the volume on the volume adjustment for Tidal and then use the stereo volume? I feel like there is more sibilance when I leave it that way, and I know the more gains you just the more it messes up the sound.

Holy crap. He lives! Welcome back man.
I know its been a while since I was on here at all, I moved out to Hawaii for a couple years. Seeking Audio Bliss out here is far more expensive than it was in the mid west.

Yes...unless it sounds better to you a different way. I don't know that there's a right or wrong answer.Would you max the volume on the volume adjustment for Tidal and then use the stereo volume?
I'd give up my system for that...I moved out to Hawaii for a couple years...
