Help Identify?

I picked up these sweet little bookshelf speakers today for under $10 for the pair. One is missing the front grill, but I plan to use them as computer speakers. They sound great!

They look like an older version of the R15 or T15 or something?

The tweeter appears to be similar to what they used in the monitor series of the early 90's?

Anyone have a clue?j9zmed7n2f5u.jpg

Quite possibly the Mini Monitor. Clips vs screw on binders

They are the same cabinet size as the R15 & the grills on the R15 are bevelled where the mini monitors are flat. I have some & they are great. IIRC 20-100wpc & sound pretty darn good for what they are. Great price. Enjoy EDIT: Welcome to Polk also

What is "olk audi"? The German branch of Polk?

Hence the "S" series that actually came out about the same time as that mini-monitor that the OP posted (1991-ish). I happen to have a pair of S8 and S4.

Or did Audi get the idea from Polk Audio?

If you look at the picture. The 2nd pair over appears to be the Monitor 4 series 2. Your correct about the tweeters. I have some just like it & they make great rear speakers or bedroom size & do a great job.... Bottom left speaker i do beleive is a earlier version with the peerless tweeters & i would love to hear them. Ive read age has taking its toll on those models & they are still enjoyed by some. Not sure but i read here that some of those smaller speakers were often used in vehicles back in the good ole days. Oh how time flies
