**** phace tried to waste

Beware guys. Local Texan guy is crazy.

I have been burned out with audio for several months now. Listening, listening..

DAC's , up conversion, amps, file types, native file types it goes on and on. That was my life. Listening, listening, testing, and testing.

Then this **** phace decided to welcome my invite. It's a Saturday, not the Blue Fox Kind of Friday night. I invited him over.. I was curious.

Showed up at my place, two amps and a DAC, carried with one arm.. How the eff could I ever take this guys seriously?

I am too stuck up, snobbish to put up with this. A complete insult.

Just looking at someone carry two amps with one arm is insulting, anywhere.

Here I am puffing my cubans and washing my hands in cristal to shake his free hand. He proceeds to my music room. One I have not entered in months.... he puts these down.

I have been through a lot and a lot have gone through my place. Why can't this be rose gold? Why can't this be the up conversion that I don't understand?

What I do know is I don't know everything, I don't need too. What I do know after tonight is I have been missing out.

I am still a snob. Stuck up. High society. And I was floored by what powered my sound, it is that good.

I suspect that most here are not familiar with Dayens, or AMR. I was not either until Skip. If the majority of you claim to love sound, you should give these a try.

Ph uck.. I am still scratching my head. Wow

But again. I thought I was hung on snobbery with my Cubans and Cristal. Same with my Audio. That couple hundred bucks is a keeper, anyday. Thanks for tonight man. I am set .

My favorite is the Ampino. I would not go so far and say it is an end game type but it does what I want in my setup. I get full sound, the mids and upper lows came together very well.

What the Ampino does for its price will leave many among men leaving with a p h u c k face like myself. Haha

    I am happy.

The only thing that is keeping me from purchasing one your Dayens this minute is no remote. Yes I am that anal, I hate to get up to change volume. Yet I am still considering.

The Dayens gear is no joke. And AMR? That's end-game material.

Oh, and I agree. Skip is a F***face. Really and truly. :D

I hear AMR has FPGA DAC. 777 something.... What do you know, my bookies are also 777. DIAMOND bro DIAMOND. say it... Say it...it's all about what is prestigious bro.. Eff, the Dayens wrecked me. How the eff am I gonna show all my stuck up audio buddies this tiny Ampino? I can't buy the AMR 777 DAC either, not until people know more about it and how much it costs. It's all about bragging rights at the risk of looking like a complete idiot.

Halen, you sound like someone else I know :p hahaha

I'm surprised the Ampino was your favorite. I loved it and don't think it can be beaten for the price, but the Menuetto trumped it in my books (on my pathetic little LSiM 703's, which I know you could never lower yourself to owning lol).

Different application Paul. The Menuetto sounded good with the 777 DIAMONDS!!!!, but the midrange bloom of the Ampino really brought them to life.
For sure. Still surprises me from the standpoint that the Ampino and Menuetto are in the same "family." Had your guys said the Ampino was better on his speakers than the Parasound I wouldn't have been as surprised.

All that being said, you know the Ampino was my favorite piece that we tested when you take everything into consideration. If you are lucky enough that the Ampino sounds best in your system, then, well, I guess you're just living right ;) (And we know Halen is living right. He's probably lighting a cigarette with a 100 bill as I type this).

I want a Menuetto, but I'm stuck with this piece of junk Plinius that a month ago I couldn't heap enough praise upon :s:D
