    He will be missed by us in Houston. He gave the Oilers 2 hard fought seasons as QB1 in 1980 and '81.We made it to the playoffs with Kenny, but got beat by the Raiders. Sadly, after that 1980 season, Bum Phillips was fired and Stabler just didn't have a great season in '81. He left to join Bum and the boys in New Orleans where he played his last 3 years. He lived life hard, but that was Kenny. R.I.P. Snake

    Oakland sure had some fine teams when he was QB there didn't they??...Football was football...and you didn't get penalized for hitting someone...some of their games with KC did set records for personal fouls though...
