Tube Integrated Question - Speaker Output Impedance Selection

My curiosity finally got the better of me on a small tube integrated I'd been back and forth on for a few weeks. Just when I thought I was out... here I am again with a new experiment, the Onix Melody. but that's it. that's the end. I swear it.

I'm playing with some Monitor 5JR+ speakers for starters, and will probably try it with 703's and M10's at some point.

The amp has speaker outs for 8Ω, 4Ω, and 0Ω. Apparently the 5JR+ are 6Ω.
Which output should I use?
Any input and further explanation/recommendation greatly appreciated.

here are a couple of photos
don't rip on my temporary setup - I'm renovating. at least, that's been my excuse for ugly furniture and bare floors for the past... well, never you mind how long it's been.

For me if its 6 like my kef blade I will jump to the 4 ohm taps as its gona dip and and clip on 8's.

I have one of these Onix SP3 integrated amps they are nice. Use the 4 ohm tap.

The 6ohm ratings are "nominal" which really does not tell you how it varies with different frequencies. Usually there are some areas of the frequency spectrum that will drop below the "nominal" rating impediance. How well a tube amp deals with this varies greatly. I agree the 4ohm tap on the output transformers is probably a best first choice, but trying the 8ohm should be a worthwhile comparison to try and compare. Because each speaker varies greatly on this frequency impediance change and also phase angles there is no perfect answer to this question.

It's gorgeous, looks like it's solid as a rock. :) I like seeing all the tubes without all their covers.

Try them on the four ohm taps for a while, then try the eight ohm taps. Stick with the ones you like better.
