What do you think about this projector?

It's located fairly close so I could pick it up. I don't know a lot about projectors, but I do know my current tv is not making me happy at the moment. What would be a fair price?

This projector has been marketed as a business presentation pj by Sharp. This doesn't make it bad as a HT pj, just that Sharp has models above this model that are known as great mid level HT pjs, namely the 9000 and 10000 models.

It has 4:3 native aspect ratio which is the same as standard TVs. SVGA resolution(800x600) which is more than enough to make dvds look good.

The specs look very similar to the Infocus X-1 that I use.

MSRP is around $2200, if you can buy for under $1000 it would probably be worth the try since that is less than 1/2 list.

I have used the Notevision PG-20 this past month for a couple days and found it to be great with video, but it is yet another model by Sharp. They make dozens of different pjs.
