since the mm10 and mm12 have the same specs, 500w rms, 1000 peak, which would sound better on a kenwood kac7251, which puts out 460x1 bridged? The mm10s dB is 85, while the mm12s dB is 87. i heard the mm12 at circuit city and it sounded awsome, so i might keep my kenwood amp and run one of these. also, would one mm10 or mm12 sound better than 2 GNX 10"s?

well first -- the mm10 and 12 do not haev teh same specs
the 10 is rated at 400 rms / 800 peak -- the 12 at 500 and 1000 respectively.
as far as would one of those beat out two gnx subs.... yes.
which would i go with... i dont know -- depends on the car, depends on your tastes and budget... but all in all i'd say that 460 has a better chance of getting the 10 louder than the 12. i reccomend 500 - 550 for the 10 and 650 for the 12.Testing

the 12 would hit a little deeper, the 10 slightly more accurately; i'm pretty sure you're not going to hear those 2 dB, and for the amp you've got, a 10 would probably eke out a little more than a 12 (i'm partial to 10s anyway, tho) - same power, less to move = more boom, i would think. It's not good, very fundamentally simply not good. - geolemon
