Is this a DLP or LCD......from what I recall a LCD with very good blacks.....bump.

Kev this is an lcd pj that has very good contrast and all you would ever need in a normal theater. The saturation and hue is what makes it stand out however as panasonic worked with movie studios to get the picture close to what the director intended for color as most normal guys like you and me dont know how to dial in those setting nor have the proper equipment.

If your considering this then one feature Ifind impressive is the fact that this has a moterised lens to get rid of the black bars on a super wide 235 aspect ratio.
