So I bike a lot now. Well, I feel like it's a bunch. 100+ miles a week. I've gone through a few eBay chinese bluetooth speakers and haven't been happy. I know a few bikers who have the JBL and are pretty happy with it. I picked one up a few days ago, and have had about 60 miles with it. I've got to say I'm in love with this speaker. It's size allows it to fit perfectly into a water bottle cage. We have a lot of fountains along the trails so most rides you don't need to carry two bottles. I can hear my music when going fast down hills and that has been an issue with everything else I've tried. I still feel comfortable riding on streets unlike wearing headphones, I don't recommend that. It packs a punch for it's size, I can see me using this when I'm working in the yard or just relaxing on the three season out back.
I don't know how many bikers we have among us, but if you want music on your ride this guy is the way to go. 12 hour playback time, will also charge your phone if you need it to. Overall, very happy with my new toy.

What kind of biking do you do, and how snug does it fit in your waterbottle cage? I bet it sounds nice. I got the Wife and Grandson each a JBL Bluetooth speaker the ones that come with the carabiner, and they sound pretty good for their small size. I bet that Charge 2 sounds good turned up.
I Mountain bike and I have to keep my Polk Swimmer in the top pouch of my camelback when hitting the trails so it's right behind my head right at ear level. Bluetooths are getting pretty popular with bikers, like you said a lot safer than using the ipod with earbuds my Ipod and phone does bluetooth. It's getting pretty loud in the woods now with all the bikers going bluetooth. Have fun and ride safe.Home Theater

@EndersShadow thats the old one. Get with the times, silver fox.
@gudnoyez I'm mostly riding a new Trek road bike (madone 2.3) but I do have a older Fugi roadie, and a 29er trail bike. I've really only used this with the Trek and I feel like it's extremely snug in my cages. I'm most likely harder on my bike than I should be and it hasn't popped out yet. I'm hoping to do all of Ragbraii this year and I'll tote this guy with me to give it the full workout. You know of a bus with an extra seat?
