Pumkinman (Bill) and I start to take apart my system and take out the NAD 1020a pre and then for sure it's has a broken input female RCA jack which was it's original problem. Now while things are being disassembled we lose a right channel through out the entire system. My one I/C is n/g and his are now being used, After that we tried his outboard phono device and I was not blown away, maybe because of the other problems or it's just not for me. I take out my Onkyo P3150v pre and still a beat channel so he breaks out his Sony beast of a pre/amp #TA-G2000 ESB. It's one beast of a pre something that the word overkill comes right into play here. Once we got it all together and cleaned up the mess I made we went into play and listen mode. Bill really liked my DCM TF 350s and when I went over the prices I got for my 2Bs and the mods he was impressed. When rotating through ALL THE SETS he got my physical lay of the land and the benefits of the multiple sets and like kids they are all different w/ their own characterizations,drawbacks, attributes,lay outs.

Bill, while getting the full monty of my sets is now ready to hear all the sets 1 play at a time w/ different sources. Bill, is one guy who is the real deal. He says he has something and it's yours it's going to be yours. He took 2 hours of a nice Saturday to hang and talk and work on stereo systems and also gave him some clues on my frugal ways that do work.

    Sounds like a nice visit glad to hear it. I would like to hear some DCM Time Frames, there is a pair of 600's for sale here locally for $150 in nice shape I should go check them out, but might end up liking them and have to have them.

    Bill was amazed n how good just my TF350s sounded that he was also going to look for a pair. We saw a 1000 model and a #600 then on to the Time Window series.

    the dcm 600s sound much much better than the lower number models.
    have listened to the time windows but have not bought a pair... yet
