It's great to see alot of people on the board meeting and haveing fun, demoing others gear, and talking shop!!
This weekend i met up with paul (spasticpitbull) again for the first time since i sold him my svs pb1, I went over with my Spl meter and some demo dvd movies to test and tune his system..
We only had a short time as me and the family had lunch plans with my wifes parents, however paul has a real clean setup, the New Onkyo looks nice and sounds great!! We calibrated up the system and sub.. popped in T3, daredevil, and i think a few others.. it sounds great.. I also donated my 24x24" concrete slab i was useing as he has wooden floors also and could use the isolation.. I have alittle slab project in the works for my Pb2,
So anyways.. he's a great guy and has a nice setup.. and was glad to be able to help him out and do alittle chatting on the side
He also let me hear his 2 channel rig with the vintage polks.. and this for me was the first time seeing old polks and much less hearing them, for a somewhat of a small speaker they have alot of bass, it was only a few minutes but cool non the less.. to hear them.. Thanks for a great time..

Cant thank you enough Faster. I am amazed at the sound of my system now after calibration, for those of you Thinking about doing it. DO IT! Next pay day i am going to the Rat Shack to get one. We jammed all day and into the night (passed out around 1ish.. i think) Played a wide selection of DVD's and CD's from Hendrix, Allaman Bros, Zepp some hip hop, blues and even threw in a couple Dave Matthews DVD's and i have to say All Along the Watch Tower set from the Fulmore DVD BLEW my mind. Cant wait to come demo the PB2 Is there anymore Tampa/St Pete/Clearwater polkies round here?

Yup it was fun while i was there.. never actually get to listen to "good" systems, most people i know don't have them or don't know about them.. and don't care.
Ive delved into the Dvd-Audio scene yesterday with this new Toshiba sd-4900 player, will see how it go's.. i like it so far, need better interconnects.. which i will have shortly. need more dvd-a material as well.. My system is shapeing up well i think// just a few final touches.. finish the cable upgrades, and should be good to go.
I look forward to spastic coming over for a Pb2-isd demo, i have a semi-vintage 2 channel rig as well for him to check out. in my in progress 70's listening room.MY HT RIG:
