OWM3 vs RTi4 as front high.
Hello guys I am looking to expand my 5.1 speakers to 7.1. My AV room is 10 feet wide and 20 feet long , with a roof of 9 feet. I use it almost exclusively for movies.
My AVR is Onkyo NR 727.
The speakers I currently use are.
1) Polk RTi A5 - front
2) Polk Csi 3 - centre
3) Polk RTi 4 - rear (these are at the corner wall)
4) Polk PSW404 - subwoofer.
I want to use the Audessey in my Onkyo AVR and install front high speakers.
Should I get the OWM3? I see that most people use it as rear surrounds, but in my case, I want to use it as front high.
The other alternative for me is to get Polk Fxi A4 and mount them at the rear wall.
And move the RTi4 as front high. Will RTiA4 be an overkill?
Also, the place for front high is a bit tight, RTi4 will fit, but just about fit.
I would appreciate your views.
Cheers,
John

I would think keeping everything timbre matched would be the way to go.
Thanks, sorry but I am a bit confused here.. Which series are the OWM3s? And the Fxi A4 I assume is another series?
Is there an RTi series dedicated speaker for front high and/or rear surrounds?
Thanks once again.Onkyo 727| Polk RTi A5 biamped| Polk RTi4s surrounds| Polk CSi3 center| subwoofer PSW404
