They should all be marked on the case and on the disc. Some good info. here: http://www.ps3sacd.com/sacdfaq.html

Sorry I can't be of more help. I have SA-CD players, but not an OPPO. Mine identify sa-cd's if on a DVD universal player or a dedicated SA-CD player. Maybe an OPPO owner will respond.

A common problem with the sellers on Amazon from what I've read. Whether they misrepresent on purpose or not I don't know. Try eBay for used or OOP titles, otherwise places like Music Direct or Acoustic Sounds have a good selection of in print titles.Political Correctness'.........defined

Yeah not such a big deal they were like ten bucks average

Did you check the case and the actual disc for the DSD logo?

No indication on disc or case. I will call Amazon
-
Amazon says the the market place seller puts their stock in the Amazon warehouse. Amazon only knows what the seller newbury_comics tells them. They are letting me return them. I will not be using that seller again.
-
Right, unless something is stocked and sold by Amazon, it's the seller's responsibility for the listing with Amazon acting as the distributor. You are not the first I've seen complain about Newbury Comics sending a CD instead of an SACD.Political Correctness'.........defined

At least the two that I was most interested in were actually SACD's
