Polk RT3000p or RT2000p Subwoofer replacement

Has anyone done or thought of using Dayton Audio RSS210HF-4 8 inch sub for RT3000p sub replacement, since the MW8500 is in short supply? I saw one comment on Parts Express where it was done on the 2000p but wanted to poll actual Polk users.

It was done with the db840 sub. I purchased the speaker used.

Buy up as many as you can! I have back up drivers, tweeters, refraction bezels, and plate amps for when something goes bad and can't be repaired!

Thanks chefkungfu......I was kinda worried for a moment. I got the speakers for a helluva great price....but did not expect to replace 1 driver and 1 sub.....but they sound excellent. Most of my listening is not at full power (due to wife and kids complaining) so I can wait on replacements.......I still have a set of RTi150's in storage from 2001 in pristine condition."There was an idea, Stark knows this.
