Got my room all set up. Sony 51'' HDTV. Polk RTi4's for the front speakers, CSi3 for the center, 2 - R15's for the side surrounds, 2 - R15's for the rear surrounds. PSW303 sub. All surround speakers with adjustable mounting brackets. All wires hidden.

What's the problem? Damn, have to wait till about March 17th for my new Yamaha RXV1400 w/PLIIx to come in.

No other receiver to use. 3 year old cheap JVC with small sattelites died a week ago, so I thought I would dive into the home theater arena with a bigger upgrade.

Could of gotten the RXV1400 without PLIIx right away, but I didn't want to regret it later.

I've been reading about the RXV 2400 and RVX 1400. Thinking about maybe getting the RXV2400 -- but it will be at least 2 or 3 months from now. What is PLIIx?

Thanks. This is a great forum. I've really learned a lot in a short time.

Don - The audio hobby is fun and frustrating sometimes, but it all works out in the end. Have fun, and let us know how it performs.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

You will enjoy your new system. Rome was not built in a day. Patience is of virtue. Good things come to those who wait.... OK, enough of the sage wisdoms!

I have been building my system for going on two years. I'm not done, yet. Relax, Brutha, Your gonna love it...;)
