beautification of my 7s

As I told you guys the '78 7s were rough but absolutely keepers. The grills were way to far gone to even bother w/ a bath and some pegs were broken off. I ordered a set of pegs and a bolt of speaker grill fabric from P/E. I was expecting these next week and they came today and I went right to work. I drilled out the broken pegs and inserted the new ones and then cleaned my table and stretched the fabric w/ what I think are great results. Total work time about 2 1/2hrs. Before you go nuts, yes the logos are missing and I broke 1 and the other was already gone. As for the internals I will send them out and the dude out of respect for the forum asked me not to mix forum and business and will respect that until the results are in. Take a look.xa3gm07pe391.jpg

Because Polk did not use adhesive only 6 million staples I found it to be an easy job. Most rewarding and did not take very much time at all. I already had all of the tools like a sharp razor, T-25 staple gun, hammer and straight edge ruler. The pegs were just as easy and were only needed on 1 speaker. Thanks guys, it really was easy just stretch well and have no creases.
