SQ of 2010 MBPro vs. 2015 MBAir w/ AQ Dragonfly

I've transitioned from an Apple Macbook Pro to a new MBAir. When I still used the MBP I borrowed a friends AQ Dragonfly and was really surprised at how much better the SQ was, especially the bass. Clear improvements in so many areas that were apparent right from the get go. Used the Dragonfly/MBP for 10 days and loved it. I had to return it b/f I got the MBAir and its unavailable to try w/ the MBAir
I assume the MBAir has less internal noise/etc as it has no optical drives/fans/etc. I would guess the Dragonfly would make less of a difference but if anyone has any experience with the Dfly and MBA I'd love to hear it.
