RT3000/5000 MW 8500 replacements?

Anybody replaced their MW8500's with a different 8" Sub? Any suggestions? Any idea on whether or not these can still be reconed? I have a bad one :(

    Hey Villian, I bought 4 from Dskip awhile back that I'm saving for when mine start to act up. Have you tried The Speaker Exchange?
    They can recone your drivers.
