After I get it hooked up how long should I wait to run the setup, doesn't this thing need to burn in first?

V with all of that stuff on my first list. I am just going to move the emo's back to the surround channels except the center will stay on the xpa-3

BTW I am just being lazy. I dont want to drag out the tripod and mic until everything is ready. I figured I would let my dog listen to Pandora while i am at work.

Up and running! You guys suck, it gets expensive hanging around here. Anyway it all sounds really good. Monitor 70's ain't all that bad, this amp just squeezed a bit more out of them and moving the Emo's back in the chain woke the rest of my speakers up. the 60's are good speakers too however I am not feeling the 40's when I put them into the mix. This parasound is pretty nice running two channel. I cant wait to get some better fronts to pair with it. I just have them hooked up, no set up run yet.

Congrats man, looks like your busy raising your game. Just for the record, I had nothing to do with your wallet crying like a kid who just dropped his ice cream cone.

If you like the Parasound now, wait until you present it with a load. Amps usually shine when you make them work a bit. The M70's are an easy load, the amp is looking at those and taking a nap.....looking at you saying "WTF, that all you got ? "

When you get some speakers that are a bit harder to drive, that amp will wake up and make you pay attention....especially when the volume rises. Moving the Emo's to surround duty is also a good choice. Good power to most any speaker is going to make a difference. Keep us up to date, looks like your putting together a very nice system.

Soooooo in a quick initial impressions nutshell...share the experience going from Emo to Parasound? :)
First imression? I don't know where to start but I think that the most striking difference is that the 70's don't even sound like they are from the same family as my other speakers. They sound like a total mismatch with the Csia6. I thought that when they were all running off of the xpa3 the difference was negligible.

Great combo you have there Mikey. IMHO....one can stop right there and be done for a very long time. To do a lot better would cost you a lot more. Parasound gear and SDA's seem to go together like PB&J.
