Is there anything wrong with using two separate units for the same system?

Is that gonna be good for 3 amps and a sub?

Can't speak from experience, but it ummm... has more plugs? Or something?

I've been running an H10 for years, haven't really had a problem with it or been limited by it. I run everything through it, but i must say i haven't had 3 amps going at once.

3 amps ? Normally we don't plug amps into these sort of things because they limit current. What kind of amps are we talkin' about anyway ? Most modern equipment is able to fend off most surges anyway, unless you have a real problem in your area.

Do you experience a lot of brown outs or fluctuations in line voltage or are you just being cautious ?

Mainly being cautious but there used to a lot of power droops here but they don't seem as bad since the power company changed out the capacitor banks on the pole. I am at the end of the line and I hear that is bad for power fluctuations. My AC unit kicking on always dims the lights too.

My Sunfire worked just fine plugged into my Panamax. One day I decided to plug it directly into the wall. It was like I pulled blankets off my speakers. It was quite the revelation.

I use a Panamax m5400pm. It does have high current outlets, and Is not current limiting. Just sounds better plugged into the wall. I have my mono blocks plugged directly Into the wall as well. I do live in a newer house though.

I lived in a house once that was 100 years old. Had my electrican buddy wire a dedicated 20 amp circuit with its own breaker. Never had a issue with power after that.

Mikey why do you think that is? Do you think the unit I am using limits the current?

I'm not sure my friend. I just tried it one day and haven't looked back. I'm sure someone else with more knowledge on that subject will jump in. I felt it sucked the detail out of the amp. Lol

What kind of A/C, size in BTU, voltage, own circuit?

So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

I would have to go look it is a central air unit on its own circuit

    That's fine then.
You said the house is older, and so you might be limited in what you can do about that. Without more info it's difficult to make a reasonable suggestion to you. I was concerned that it was something like a 12K BTU window unit or something, drawing lots of startup current on the same circuit as your lights.
