Hi Guys,

Well I'm still waiting for this thing to arrive if it ever does. Denon claims that production of this unit is limited and they didn't forsee the demand. My wait could be anywhere from 1-3 months!! Geez I hope this thing is worth the wait!

Frustrated.

    That is too bad, but maybe you might want to consider the Marantz DV-8400, a fantastic universal player that is selling for about $1,299.

    Hi,

    Yes, I have seriously considered the Marantz. I own alot of Marantz equipment. However, I feel the build quality in their universal player is not great and also the video section has it's problems. That's why I opted for the Denon. Another consideration could be the Pioneer 59AVI, but I gather that is equally difficult to obtain these days.

    Guess I have to sit tight for now.
