    Why Skip, Hybrids have been around for a long time now. My Butler is a hybrid and sounds extremely well. Think of it as a SS amp with a built in tube buffer.....sorta.

    I found a pic of the insides. Looks like a nice amp to me.
    Couldn't locate the tubes... the wife spent 250.00 :#
    Saving and selling. That Parasound integrated looks like
    the bomb to me!

    Now I'm thinking update the AVR to help tie all this gear together
    and wait for Parasound fundage... My old 1913 is fine for what I
    use it for but no pre-outs or HT by-pass.... or just be patient......
    This is a great hobby! :D
