Old School Mondays...

Just scored an unopened copy of Mel Tillis Greatest Hits... man could this guys sing, but. As I recollect, He couldn't string a complete sentence together if he were to do an interview. Wonderful music. Anyone else spinning it old school tonight?

I got some Steve Miller goin, is that old enough?

If it goes back at least to the 70's, is not rap, and you can listen to it and understand the words without being too far gone, it works.

Hey, Mark, there's gotta be an area museum in need of a part-time curator to keep you busy in "semi-retirement" some day, no?

Im gonna pull out glen campbells, "Wichita lineman" cuz you guys inspired me.

Otherwise Im finishing first listen to Donald fagens "Morph the cat.

It usually takes 2 or three listenings to his solo stuff before I fall in love, but I have learned not to put them away and write them off.
