    I agree. Good post max!

    The few reviews that I've seen that compare Polk's T50s to A.J.s Pioneer towers claim the Polks are more forward and in your face which is good for HT but not as much for music. The argument being that the A.J.s are more musical, have greater depth and imaging. Haven't heard them so...grain of salt stuff here!

    I do expect that new ELAC line by Jones to be better than his Pio bookies a little. I guess we really need to hear the T50s first (but I kind of understand the review comments as I prefer warmer and perhaps less sizzle up top).

    Evidently, the T50s are starting to show up at Best Buys, but not at my local one yet!

    The Elacs have gotten good reviews as well.

    Polk has always voiced their home theater speakers with a bump up in the treble region, its what people want for HT.
    Vinyl, the final frontier...

    Avantgarde horns, 300b tubes, thats the kinda crap I want... :D
