TSi500 or Monitor 70 Series ii - Differences?

What is/are the difference(s) between the Monitor 70 series ii and the TSi 500? I have a budget to work with and I am trying to determine if there are any perceptible or technical differences between these speakers? Also, does anyone know if the TSi has better crossover than the Monitor series? I will purchase one of these models, just looking for information to help me make the most of my budget.

    From my experiences with them, the Monitor 70's were better.

    Much better crossover design that gave them much better mids and better imaging.

    The TSi 500's were slightly better in the bass department, but not nearly enough to make up for the mids and imaging of the Monitor 70's.
