Arcam A65+ integrated amp
Arcam DV79 DVD/CD player
JVC QL-A200 turntable
Polk Monitor 7c speakers
The Arcam sound is warm with a smooth treble, no harshness or shrill digital artifacts. The amp matches well with the Polks. I can't believe the bass response on the M7's with this amp. When the source has low end, the Polks deliver. Both Arcam pieces are made in the UK. The DVD player even has a toroidal transformer.

Turntable is from 1982 or so, the Arcam's are early 2000's.

Much as I want 70's vintage Pioneer, Marantz, Sansui, etc... the prices are too high. These nice UK made audiophile pieces were very affordable

I have an arcam avr 350 and it is an awesome piece
-
Yeah, GAS set in last summer with the Marantz PM7001, which is a great amp. But I had to sell it to pay bills, got some cheap gear for a while, then was able to buy back the arcam set
