An F1 tornado touched down about 10 minutes from the house. Only stayed on the ground for a minute. but unfortunately, went through a populated area, to include a shopping center.

This thing was just a baby, but did extensive damage to numerous vehicles, buildings, trees and homes. Downed powerlines everywhere.

Luckily, there were only a few minor injuries.

Keep us informed, where are you located deron? Areas down here in Tx. have been getting slammed with flooding and a few tornadoes. Houston got hit hard yesterday and then again this morning with torrential rain and flooding, 5 deaths accounted so far, some missing. looks like New Orleans is going to get hit again later this day.

Keep safe - stay on watch.

Tornados are scary. I wonder how folks live where they are knowing that 'tornado season' is here.

Is this coming from a guy who lives in southern California??? I have always wondered how people live there withj the earthquakes. But now I live in Tornado alley, and you realize that its not a choice. House, jobs, etc. all here, hard to pick up and move to s "safe" location.

    To the OP, stay safe!

I've sailed Lake Erie by Cleveland. Maybe not much surf on a calm day, but when the winds/storms kick up......look out!

I'm south of Dayton, Ohio. Tornado hit just east. An F5 tornado completely wiped out the City of Xenia, which is about 20 miles east, in
the mid 70s. People who remember are still freaked out by it.

Glad to hear everything alright, we had a tornado on the ground and we were in the direct path of it about less then 2 weeks ago, about 15 miles away it went back up and the storm all but broke up too, we was in a shelter at the time. just got lots of rain. all the damage was to open fields and no person hurt with that storm.

I live in a suburb of Columbus, and we have been really lucky avoiding tornadoes. They seem to always hit just north or south of C-bus. Tis the season, however, knocking on wood.
Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. What I am tryin to say is, is that the course of your life, well its changing, and you don't even see it- Forest Bondurant
