    Man o man - on to Dire Straits - Making Movies one of my favs. I feel like I've never heard Knopfler so lush before. I could be playing that guitar myself right here in the room, IF I had one iota of his talent that is!

    Houston I think we may have a winner - third CD and no static after an hour warm up!

    I cannot thank you all enough for your suggestions and support - without them it likely just would have gone back for a return and I would have missed out!

    Funny enough Paul - I was already thinking that! The Phillips JAN's I picked up because they were relatively local and I knew they'd be here in time, and as I understood things, a decent enough "bang for the buck" 6922. I'm thinking Amperex Bugle Boys next maybe!

    Nuthin' at all pal. Revel in the thought you snagged a good deal there and get to enjoy some tube goodness. Cd quality and tubes....count me in.
