The only device in my rack that did not function w/ my 2-chl. set up was my Sony CE-375 5 disc carousel cdp. It has 2 outputs, 1 being optical Toslink and the other RCAs. I've always used it as av-4 just going into my Yamaha RX-V665 avr. I called Yamaha and I told them that I used all the outputs to cover my tt, all other sources through tuner in and aux to my Denon 1040CI cdp.They asked do I have a tape- in on my NAD and said yes. Out of the RCAs of the Sony into tape1of the NAD and magic. I have my 5-disc cdp pumping and cleanly through my 2-chll system. Maybe not an earth shaking development but it's great that another device is NOT only regulated to my avr but also used for my 2-chll system.
Another thing, you guys/ gals go and have a great holiday weekend on me. Yes I did forget to thank Dave for those extra stanchions when I really needed them and to Pumpkin-Man for gifting me the NAD 1020A pre, that really changed everything. !!!!

    I am feeling chagrined that I never got up the gumption to see what I had "in stock" in the basement in terms of CDPs for you :- (

    Doc don't worry. The cdp that I need is for my bdrm. and evidently the one I got at a garage sale for $10 does not have whatever it takes to play burned CDs. If you do a spring cleaning of sorts and find something I'm not all that particular w/the exception I could use a remote w/ it. The tape source thing was for my rack in the living room.
