Is there any way to rip audio for blue ray/dvd's?

Although I sit at home listening or watching most of the time it would be nice to have some of my stuff portable.

If you use the analog out from player and go directly into computer via mic input. It wont be the best quality but its basic.

It has to be an older player or a higher end player since analog output is no longer mandatory.
