Arrived today and have spent about 6 hrs with it. Hooked up ext hard drive to usb a port and it read everything right away. Using analog out to Onk then to the 2Bs.
This unit is used, purchased on A-Gon, from a pretty cool guy who took very good care of it. Has all the latest firmware updates.
First impressions are that it is a solidly built piece. The screen is big enough so I can read tracks from my listening position. Navigation is easy, but can take some time as there are over 1300 CDs on the hard drive. That said, it does have a search option that allows to search by letter, so it gets me closer faster.
Sound is very good. I was using my Sony BDP before via HDMI out. Sounded ok, but kinda thin and ghostly. The Marantz has a crisp detailed sound with a touch of warmness. My interconnects are just ok. Monster RS, but am thinking of getting Audioquest black mamba.
Not using it as a server yet. Has LAN only, or Bluetooth with an adapter. Could probably run a 50 ft Ethernet, but WAF would be slim. Was wondering if i could get another router and hook it up close to the unit and run Ethernet from there?

How large of an external hard drive are you using with yours? I've never tried anything bigger than a 16GB flash driveThe difference between genius and stupidity is; genius has its limits. -Albert Einstein
