Amplifier knobs needed

Looking for machined aluminum or other shiny metal knobs for my preamp. Amp has the standard 1/4" spindles. Can't seem to find knobs that are 3/4" wide and 9/16" deep...need 4. I've come close but not exact. Also need 1 that is 1 5/8" wide.

Are you trying to replace factory knobs on a specific preamp or do you have very specific needs for custom/DIY?

Actually they have exactly what I'm looking for at the surplus site except there are 2 set screws(would prefer and only need 1)...but may be worth a shot if I can't find any others. They have the 4 smaller ones and the large one that I need is out of stock so I'll keep an eye on it.

I don't think I have any nice knobs "in stock", but I will check.
Maybe you should pick up a PAT-4 for, you know, five bucks (a little more than they're worth, but what the heck) and scavenge the knobs off of that! ;- )

Looks like they would work too! That surplus place responded to my email promptly, will have to keep checking back for the larger knob. A previous owner of this pre for some reason had placed some dynamat type stuff on the outside of the case. An hour or so with the heat gun and some solvent and case is back to decent condition. Now for a paint job and she will look like (almost) new.Yep, my name really is Bob.
