Quick Question Regarding RT2000 p/i

I know all other differences I believe (Color of Driver, Different Front Materials, Different Xover), but is it true that the P's has a higher wattage amp than the I's?? Doesn't make much sense to me considering the I's came later O.o A fast, accurate answer would be greatly appreciated!
