Will a CS245i match well with RTi38's?

That's my question. Will a CS245i match well with my RTi38's. I've grown impatient with looking for a CSi30 and I bought a CS245i (in mint condition) off of eBay last night for $108 shipped. I see that the tweeters are different, but are they close enough to create a cohesive sound field? If I find a CSi30 for a good price I'll probably sell the 245, but if I don't find a 30 for that good of a price do you think I'll be fine with what I've got? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks,
James

I "think" it should sound fine, But moreso... try for yourself and see.. I had a cs400i with Rti70's and couldnt tell a difference.. if you "really" want a perfect match then of course you should match lines,, But its not nessasary i don't think... Good luck

    What he said.

If you want to be perfect than you should match the tweeters but for the avg joe you won't tell much of a difference. The 245i is a great speaker just like the csi30, give it a go and if you can't stand it sell the 245.

245i's are harder to find these days and I think the quality of the speaker will allow it to hold its value.

Haha, so I got me a CSi30 today for $140 shipped. That's the best price I've seen on eBay for one in a long time. Looks like I'll be able to sell the CS245i for a profit and bring my final cost down a bit. But once again, thank you guys for replying to my question. It's great to know you can find good help around here.

    Sincerely,
    James
