35 years ago had two pairs ,theadra pre amp son of amp and best ampzilla 1 xwife got one pair and son amp and blew tweeters my pair and needless to say Iv'e never been the same with out my system, nahcamichi casset, micro seike trn table, denon c/d . please need help for tweeters & cacthing wind of crsovr upgrade . Replacement tweeters are available through Polk. The tweeters that are available are actually a huge upgrade from the original tweeters too.
There are quite a few common crossover mods that people do to these speakers. There are a bunch of threads around detailing the different types of mods.

Quite true. I should have mentioned this, as I own a pair of Peerless 7As myself. A wonderful sounding pair of speakers, I might add. Full crossover mods are definitely in the works for a future project when I've got some free time.The nirvana inducer-
