Yes. I recently sold one to rednedtugent. He put up a thread about it.Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

Yes, Mr. Spindel did all the upfront work for me. Love it.
Listening to Beau Brummels thru it as we speak. Saved my Dynacos.
I haven't don't any mods other than swapping tubes.
OTOH, I'd love to try that Vincent pre with the separate PS.
Last I knew it was 50% off. No fuss or muss. -
Figures, the one time I don;t try the search function! I'm concerned about the comment on the hum sound, was it ever resolved? Is it audible during quiet passages? I'm torn right now between 2 preamps in apprx the same price range, the older one has a very good phono section but it's age concerns me somewhat and the newer one has none but thus far sounds a bit better using my cd player.
There is a V130 at the 'gon for sale...any comments?Yep, my name really is Bob.

The hum just requires a cheap replacement power supply from Radio Shack.Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.
