i have had my system running for some time now. onkyo receiver it says 125 per channel 2 adcom 555 ses powering rtia9 with the rest of the rti 7.1 setup. my center and 4 surrounds are running off the receiver and was thinking about grabbing an adcom 7500 to replace the receiver powering those. i found a great deal and was wondering what you experienced guys think if its needed?

I'd suggest you unbridge the Adcoms first. Bridging increases the noise floor of the amp.

As for adding a multi-channel amp for the rest....maybe not needed, but it sure won't hurt.

For what it's worth, I really enjoyed my 7500. Still have it and will be using it for surround speakers once my basement is finally done (2 more weeks). It always did a solid job running my setup with 15s, 9s, and an lsic
