The new Alabama Shakes cd is great!!! Like it just as much as the first. A little bit mellow but still good.

    Their first cd is more appealing in some ways depending on your taste. Like a female black keys.

    Music is VERY Black Keys. Take out the vocals and I'm not sure you cold distinguish the two. Those who can't tell the difference in cables definitely couldn't tell the difference :p

    I liked their first one better, but I still think this one is very good. I agree with you that this one is a bit slower, more mellow.
