pick one of these up on the strength a recommendation here.
Got this digital cable with Neutrik ProFi RCA connectors to go
from my modest Emotiva ERC-3 CD transport to my XDA-2 DAC.
Signal suggests 50 hours of breakin.
It quickly buried the homemade RG6 w/ vampire RCA cable however.
I did not hear much difference one way or another against an (cheap) optical or
Mogami balanced AES/EBU cable after 25 hours in. I even tossed it up against
Aural Harmony Cryo Gold alloy XLR cable which sounded as good or better.
Now at 40 hours, things have changed The Signal Silver now sounds
less veiled and more ... in command than the others. Can't wait to get to
some more time into this cable.

I like hearing stories like this, burn-in, break-in and such, and some description of the process and observations. being relatively new to things at "this" level, I was/am skeptical that things can change significantly with usage, especially cables, but I've been slowly having similar experiences, albeit so far only with other gear. I think the first time was with an HSU sub that seemed to get better over time and still surprises me with unexpectedly impactful response at times. I didn't notice in measured experience along the way. it was more just, "holy crap, I never heard it like that before; that sounds really good". then with an amplifier that was reworked. not always profound, but sometimes occurs to me that things sound, in general, a bit smoother, a bit fuller, and then I realize just how much I'm enjoying the listening experience at the time, and I sit back, relax and enjoy.
hope to be having my own similar cable experience soon. first time with "real" cables. trying not to have any "expectations", but it's good to hear that this happens, and that it can grow from a sometimes relatively underwhelming experience in the beginning. figure if I have enough of these experiences myself, I may feel less surprised when it happens, but it is kind of a cool feeling when you notice it.
I think this note/review may just carry that much more weight coming from a smart a$$ like you.I disabled signatures. -
God bless you.

I'm really enjoying it. Not as earth shaking as great new DAC or
going tube, but very pleasing sound. The bass is more effervesent
and a bit more high clarity than my cheapo AES and optical.
Sorry if this goes against group think.
I'm listening to Dylan Highway 61 Revisited SACD. This LP was recorded
thick. This is the best it has ever sounded to me. -

Who care if it goes against group think. You enjoy how it sounds, thats all that matters....

I had been using a couple of set's of these with my headphone amp & phono amp after Neil suggested it.. but I just traded my 2 sets to Paul for a set of bi-wire cables from franks also to try on my 2nd system. having fun mixing it up trying different things2 ch- Polk CRS+ * Vincent SA-31MK Preamp * Vincent Sp-331 Amp * Marantz SA8005 SACD * Project Xperience Classic TT * Sumiko Blue Point #2 MC cartridge

I've never enjoyed silver on the analog connections in my system anywhere other than between the turntable and the phono stage. But the silver digital cable has been great. All of my cables are from Frank. Power, interconnects, speaker, and dreadnaught. Great stuff at an affordable price.Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

Who is this Frank fellow, and where might I find his wares?

I've really enjoyed the signal silvers on my rig, and now with the two sets coming from voltz...I'll be all silver IC's with the straley reality cables for my speakers.
Granted, I have an integrated so it's not like I have silver from source to pre to amp, which may be too much...it's just a single run from each of my sources to the integrated.
They work VERY well bringing detail out with my slightly laid back MF and 705's. They may not work as well with a more forward system, but they seem to be the perfect key for my synergy so far.2 ChannelTurntable - VPI Classic 2/Ortofon 2M BlueAmplification - Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum II, Parks Audio Budgie PhonoSpeakers - GoldenEar Triton 17.2 Home TheaterDenon AVR-X3300W; Rotel RMB-1066; Klipsch RP-280F's, Klipsch RP-450C, Polk FXi3's, Polk RC60i; Dual SVS PB 2000's; BenQ HT2050; Elite Screens 120"Man CaveTurntable - Pro-Ject 2.9 Wood/Grado GoldAmplification - Dared SL2000a, McCormack DNA 0.5 DeluxeCD: Cambridge AudioSpeakers - Wharfedale Linton 85th Anniversary; LSiM 703; SDA 2A -
Anywhere other than the turntable and they were just too revealing for me. Overly bright, almost shrill sounding. But from turntable to phone stage I love them.Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

Thanks. I'm investigating silver for the Traveler-->ARC PH5 connection.Anywhere other than the turntable and they were just too revealing for me. Overly bright, almost shrill sounding. But from turntable to phone stage I love them.
Others have said the same thing. It has my curiosity piqued.

This is good to know as I need to do some TT work. Thanks for the followup! -

I agree about the turntable...and of course every system is different, but from my dac to the integrated they sounded amazing as well.

Yes, I completely agree. Every system is different, everyone's ears are different. Just stating my own experience, not trying to influence anyone else's choices, other than to say that Signal Cable is great quality at a great price point.Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Every single time I get content with my system, you guys manage to ruin it for me!
Now I'm thinking about how I should try these...
I have several of Frank's cables in my system, analog 2's with copper bullets connect my Pro-Ject to the P5 and P5 to the 1500A, and the 1500A has Frank's Magic Power cable also.
But now Neil has me contemplating the silvers for at least the Pro-Ject. -

Come on now Neil, we all know that you're pretty good at spending your own money as well...
I used to get the updates of the record purchases! -

Big fan of silver ic's in the analog connection department, especially with tubes but they do get expensive!
