I am giving away a brand new, genuine, Polk Audio Baseball Cap, Black. There is a catch....you must answer the three(3) trivia questions. Thanks to Ken Swauger for the questions, they are real good questions Polkies :D

Sorry, but no Texas Polk Gathering attendees are eligible, because you allready have one! :)

I would like the answers posted here, and I will not be giving any hints. The first post that contains all three correct answers, wins....that simple. Please don't answer unless you are playing, lets make this rough :D

CAR AUDIO, YOU ARE ALSO INVITED TO PLAY! This is for the entire forum, and you guys and gals are a huge part of its success.

The cap will be mailed by me, free, anywhere in the world....except France.

Question #1
Q: Who owned the farm where "Woodstock" took place?

Question #2
Q: What single event caused the breakup of the group, "Cream"?

Question #3
Q: What rock record's album jacket was designed by Norman Rockwell?

I hope this is fun, and it gets the brain working. All answers have been provided by Ken Swauger, and will be adhered to like divine word from a Polk Deity.

    2. Clapton likens the ending to a "blackout" where he still doesn't recall any of them actually ever saying that it was over

I've got #1 & #3, but #2 has me wondering. Never got that google thang fixed so I guess I'll await the answer.

P.S. I own the answer to #3. Didn't really care for it. I should bury it underground.

#1 - Max Yasgur - I knew this one (being a child of the 60's)

#3 - The Live Adventures of Mike Bloomfield and Al Kooper (did not know this one, but it is correct)

    #2 three possible answers:

Copied from TheCream.net - "For Clapton, the end came when the revered Rolling Stone magazine dubbed him "master of the blues clich

    1. Roy Howard /Max Yasgur( i say both names because of this article)
BETHEL - The owner on Max Yasgur's farm will face Bethel officials in court Wednesday to decide if he violated a court-ordered injunction when thousands of people showed up at the farm last August to celebrate the Woodstock Anniversary.

Roy Howard faces contempt of court charges for hosting the three-day festival on his Route 17B farm. Prior to the event, Bethel town officials took Howard to court to ban the festival because Howard did not hold the proper permits. A court injunction was issued to stop the event.

    2.rolling stones article

3.The Live Adventures of Mike Bloomfield and Al Kooper."

I had already answered the above answers, i.m assuming the #2 was wrong , so i changed it accordingly, maybe this time,

If there's more than one, I would think a chronoligical order would be the desiding factor, even if it's not the answer that was originaly sought.

    Norman Rockwell - Paintings

Roy Howard NOW owns the Max Yasgur homesite... not the farmland which was the concert site.

Jeryl Abramson and Roy Howard at their farm, formerly Max Yasgur's, in Bethel

The concert site is now owned by the Gerry Foundation. The heirs of Max Yasgur sold the site to Louis Nicky and he then sold it to Alan Gerry in 1996.

cool, so my research was correct on that one in my first answer.. i think the stumper was/is the Cream ??? which seems to have to many answers/reasons to be exact.. however i guess it must have a answer in mind for this quizzie.. if my last answers are wrong.. i'll go ahead and pass on to more knowledgable persons on these subjects.. I was born in the very early 70's so this is all ancient and unknown to me, interesting non the less and a learning experiance.. Thank god for the Internet for this aged knowledge
