The Speaker Journey Continues.

Hello,
I have the same model speakers and agree completely with what you've said. My feelings exactly.
Enjoy, Ken -
Harbeth's bring body and smoothness back to the music. Acoustical music and vocals are to die for. You're gonna find yourself rifling thru your library for the next few months....enjoy. One of these days I'll get my mitts on a pair of HL-5's.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2

Steve I remember you raving about yours years ago and that's what turned me onto them actually. Glad I stumbled on those few posts! I actually want to hear what the 7's would sound like in here because my room is pretty small.
Zero, absolutely. They are so damn easy to listen to.
Kenneth, speaker brothers! I was actually listening to a few music scores through them and to me they sound like they would be stellar with movies. Yeah they wouldn't be crazy dynamic but they have such an involving sound which would draw me into whatever I was watching.
I'm listening to them now sipping a cup of coffee and wow. These don't try to force their way around. I can't imagine anybody not liking these speakers if they love music. I've never felt the nostalgia like this with any other speaker and it's because these gently draw you in from a distance and aren't shouting down your throat for attention.
Okay, I'll stop now -
The large bookshelf look lends to the nostalgia as well. I used the word "body" earlier; I think "weight" is a better word. Enjoy, you won't miss the merry-go-round. The 7ES-3 are larger than they look in photos. I would say they're slightly bigger than Lsi9's.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2
