110W to 100W Speaker?

Hey, I know there's a similar question below, but mine is of a different ilk. I'm thinking of running a Yamaha 110W amp to 100W speakers for home theater. I don't ever turn the system up to make the windows break or paint to peel, but am I in danger of blowing my speakers?? Much appreciated!:)

No ... Too many watts are better than too little ...

You will be fine, chances are that 110 watts is a slightly inflated number.Epson 8100

Not having ENOUGH power at higher volumes can more easily blow speakers than higher volumes with MORE power than the speaker's power rating.Mains: polkaudio RTi70's (bi-wired)
