I'm renting it for the next 3 days while I'm Vancouver with my Daughter for her open house(she got excepted into Emily Carr by the way proud Dad) any way what a great car, quick, handles great not a bad stereo.
Drove it up a few mountain roads it took turns like it was on rails not to crazy put man she hugs the road.
I drive a 3/4 ton GMC diesel so getting into a sporty car is something off a treat.

Great day.
Cheers
Roger

My Honda Civic would feel like it's on rails when you're used to a pickup truck. :D

    Congrats to your daughter!

Agreed. Germans make exceptional vehicles. Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Porsche, Gumpert, all excellent cars.

Yep enjoy that A4. As for Germans, I like their cars quite a bit. Japanese cars too.

    Enjoy my Benz a lot.

Good luck getting one. Love that car. Can't say anything bad about it and seems like most people who have one or driven it say the same thing - that it's great.

But there are a few Germans I would love to own. The new 2016 R8 for instance with the huracan engine. Wife told me to pay off the house first. So I need a few years.

Enjoy running that thing around. I had an A4 and then an S4, and both were an absolute joy to drive. And congrats to the daughter as well!

Be careful of those Audi and VW inline 4 Turbos. Lots of known issues with cam gears, chains, tensioners and Fuel Injectors.

If you plan to keep german cars for just a few years ok but not in the long run, expensive to work on and overly complicated.

Buy 2 so you have one to drive while the other is in the shop.

LOL..I heard the same thing from my cousin after I bought my 2010 Jetta. He was so proud of his brand new Mustang at the time...until it had so many problems that he ended up getting rid of it after 3 months. ALL cars can have problems. A lot of it depends on how well owners maintain them. All I know is, I've never had good luck with American-made cars (is there really even such a thing anymore?). Hell, I loved my little piece of crap Nissan Sentra back in the 90s. Never had major problems with it. The Dodge and Pontiac I had since had a ton of problems before 75,000 miles. Neither lasted 100,000 miles. Maybe my Jetta will develop issues, who knows? But I do know that the VW dealerships I have dealt with have been awesome.
