Question on the Fiio.
Do you know if it works with iPhone 6s? I'm wanting To use the DAC portion and reading conflicting reports about the Apple Camera Connection working to allow you to go iPhone - Camera Connection - USB in on the Fiio.
Some say you have to put a powered or unpowered USB hub in between the camera connection and the iPhone some say you don't. Some say if you turn off charging in the E17 it works others not so much lol....
So I'm confused.
I'm aware I could go iPhone - Lightning bolt to 30 pin connector - 30 pin LOD cable - Fiio but at that point the DAC is irrelevant and I could use any portable amp.
Thanks in advance for any input."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -

Not sure. I looked around and not much info out there. Only one I found is from Reddit. I was using a HTC phone.

Hehehehe.... well I dont have a camera connection.... and spending 35 bucks to find out aint worth it lol....
I'm thinking either I just nut up and get the JDS Labs C5D + camera cable or just forget about needing a DAC and use the lightning bolt to 30 pin adapter to a LOD cable to get line level out of the iPhone and then just whatever headphone amp I want.....

... in order to add to the message of this post, I've enjoyed my E17 a lot. With my old iPhone I purchased cheap 30-pin to 1/4" stereo adapter (which doesn't bypass the phone's DAC) and was certainly able to enjoy tunes via my Senn HD555's.
Bump and good luck to the seller!Jay
