Anyone here have one? I'm thinking of getting one to play ALAC, FLAC and mp3 files. Seems well built and affordable at $99 plus another $30 for a 64 GB SD card.

Yeah, it looks real nice. I prefer to use iTunes to organize my digital music and ALAC playback on the Fiio and my phone would be great.

Looks quite nice. Thought I have to admit I'm spoiled with touchscreens so it would be hard to go back from my iPhone to this..... I never messed with the scroll wheel devices....
The only thing portable really on my radar is the DAC/Headphone amp combo from JDSLabs (C5D) it works with android and iOS and Windows......."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Interesting, but other than larger storage what will this do for me that my Android phone doesn't already do? Heck now that android supports audio over USB, allowing me to use an external DAC, I'd say the Fiio is more restrictive in it's abilities.

I don't want to use my phone as a music player at work. I use a cheap mp3 player now, but this would be nicer and I can use it home for playback as well. Probably a better audio amp section as well over a phone.

I've got a cheap Fiio DAC for my living room/patio setup (casual listening) and I've been very impressed for the price. I want to say it only cost about $40, maybe not even that much.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden

If things work out, I'll be ordering one soon

I have some Fiio gear myself. I don't have that player but I'm positive its rock solid like their other stuff.B&W CM9Classé Sigma

Pretty nifty little device. So could I use this upstairs in a rig via USB dac? This would be strictly for the source, rather than a PC or Squeezebox.

I have my eye on the Fiio players as my Sansa Fuse is showing signs of age and the battery is getting less and less run-time.Stan

I was thinking of getting this for the car but Iheard if you have alot of songs the micro usb to usb connection method can take over 10 mins to sync. I think I would have to go 3.5 to usb to avoid them issues.
